Adenoid hypertrophy

   Adenoid hypertrophy - is defective changes in the pharyngeal tonsil . They usually occur after an infection ( measles, scarlet fever , influenza, diphtheria) or are hereditary defects. More common in children aged 3-10 years.
   Symptoms. Constant nasal congestion and discharge from it, twang . Mouth slightly open in a patient , sleep is accompanied by snoring . Often there are headaches . Children behind in their studies, physically weakened, sometimes observed bedwetting . Adenoids may become inflamed , disrupting ventilation of the middle ear , leading to the appearance of frequent otitis media ( middle ear infection ) .
  Traditional methods of treatment: Surgical removal .
