Tonsillitis

   Tonsillitis - an infectious disease that affects the palatine tonsils . The disease is very common , especially in cold and wet weather . Infectious agents are staphylococci, streptococci and pneumococci . Tonsillitis is usually found in people with chronic diseases of tonsils and dental caries .
   Symptoms. Malaise, pain on swallowing , fever , headache . Distinguish bluetongue, follicular and lacunar tonsillitis . When catarrhal tonsillitis tonsils become swollen and reddened . When tonsillitis tonsils visible purulent plugs. When lacunar angina cork cover the entire surface of the tonsils.

   Traditional methods of treatment: in the early days of the disease it is imperative to comply with bed rest . Need to drink plenty of liquids . When illness starts only recommended gargle weak disinfectant solution ( to 1 cup water 1 teaspoon baking soda , or boric acid or hydrogen peroxide ) .
